Gameplay Update Overview
On October 22, Maxion implemented a gameplay update for Ragnarok Online Landverse America. This update introduces a card recycling system, a new MVP event in Geffen, and a sixth tier for the NOVA Landstone instance. Additionally, two SSR items have been added to the NOVA Treasure 5 reward pool.
Card Ascension Details
Players can now convert cards into Card Fragments through the Card Master located at Izlude (82, 215). These fragments can be used for upgrades, random card fusion, or purchases from a dedicated shop. The system allows disassembly of 12 cards and offers nine X Card upgrades. For example:
- Leaf Cat Card yields 10 fragments
- Mobster Card and Zealotus Card yield 150 fragments each
To create an X Card, players need the respective base card and 1,000 Card Fragments. Notably, the Hydra X Card increases damage against Demi-Human monsters by 25%.
Geffen MVP Event
The MVP event in Geffen starts on October 22 at 8 a.m. and runs until November 5 at 7 a.m. Players can access the MVPs through Heroic King at Geffen (111, 104). Each MVP will spawn three times on the map and will respawn 15 seconds after being defeated. Notable MVPs include Baphomet and Valkyrie Randgris, with a chance to drop valuable items like Adamantine and Eclipse of Arcane. Players can earn rewards without the need for VIP status.
Rachel Sanctuary Update
The prior donation event for Rachel Sanctuary has concluded, and players are now tasked with achieving a new donation goal of 100,000,000 Zeny to unlock the area. Donations made after the event will not earn rewards, and the NPC for donations remains near the church entrance.
Additional Features
This update also includes new instances and items, such as the Primary Landstone Box in Landstone 6 and the introduction of Champion Mask and Bravery Bag [1] in NOVA Treasure 5. These items can be minted as NFTs but cannot be traded. Maxion also made various fixes to improve gameplay mechanics and overall experience.
