Overview of DeFishing
MEETLabs has announced the launch of DeFishing, marking it as the first game on its GamingFi platform. This blockchain-based fishing game is designed to be played on the BNB Chain and introduces a unique combination of Proof of Play (POP) and Proof of Staking (POS) mechanisms. Players can earn rewards through gameplay, mission completions, and rankings, as well as from staking their tokens.
Promotional Events
To coincide with the launch, several promotional events are being activated:
- Digital Asset Package: Players can redeem airdrop coupons for test tokens of GoldShark Coin (GSC).
- Registration Package: Up to 100,000 GSC in test tokens.
- Invitation Rewards: Both players and their invited friends will receive game tokens.
- First Recharge Package: Offers exclusive items in the store.
Tokenomics and Future Plans
DeFishing utilizes a dual-token system consisting of the MEET48 IDOL token for governance and community incentives, and the GFT (GamingFi Token), which is designed to have a stable supply with a transparent token burning mechanism. This approach aims to provide players with additional P2E rewards while ensuring fairness and value retention for the tokens.
Looking ahead, GamingFi plans to expand its offerings with more blockchain games, including MonopolyChain, further enhancing MEET48’s presence in the Web3 entertainment sector. MEET48 itself focuses on creating an ecosystem for AI-generated content in entertainment, targeting Generation Z with various media types including animation, games, and comics.
