Update on Werewolf Boss Loot
In a recent patch on October 8, Onchain Heroes has made a significant adjustment to the gameplay of Axie: Den of Mysteries. Previously, players sometimes left empty-handed after defeating the Werewolf boss; now, any failure to receive a Blessing will instead guarantee a payout of 100 Treasure. This change aims to enhance player satisfaction and ensure that efforts in the dungeon are rewarded.
Upcoming Raffle Draw
The update coincides with the second raffle draw of the DoM: Reborn event, which will take place on October 8 at 4:30 p.m. UTC, shortly after the game’s weekly reset at 4 p.m. UTC. Players can earn raffle tickets by defeating Kilnbane, the boss located on the tenth floor of the dungeon. Each key used in a run grants one ticket, which must be registered at the Raffle Board in the lobby.
Weekly Stats and Prize Pool
Over the past week, the dungeon recorded 1,191 completed runs and 10,001 burnt keys, contributing to a weekly prize pool totaling $7,001. The payouts for Blessings added an additional $2,013 in USDC. The event runs from September 10 through October 22, with players competing for over $6,000 in prizes, including a $5,000 leaderboard pool for the top 100 Shard collectors.
Key Details for Participation
- Key Cost: Keys are priced at $1 each and can be purchased using USDC, RON, WETH, or AXS. Up to 100 keys can be used per run.
- Prize Distribution: 70% of key sales contribute to the weekly prize pool, while 18% goes to the Blessings pool, and 5% to the Throne bounty.
- No NFT Required: Players do not need an Axie NFT to participate in the 2.0 version of the dungeon; a Ronin wallet is sufficient.
Participants should remember that any raffle tickets not entered will not be included in the draw, emphasizing the importance of timely registration.
