Dataline, a startup building a decentralized data network for AI agents, has raised $10.6 million. The round was disclosed on October 21, 2026.
The part that matters if you trade new tokens comes next. Dataline plans a public token sale through Uniswap’s auction platform. That means a new AI-agent token could reach the open market, and the terms that decide whether early buyers get a fair price have not been published.
Who Is Reported to Be Behind the Round
The raise is reported as a seed round. Lattice and Dispersion Capital are reported to have co-led it. Symbolic Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Anagram and Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev are reported to have joined.
The financing is reported to be a SAFE, a Simple Agreement for Future Equity. Under this deal, investors receive tokens equal to their investment at a later date. So the backers in this round are future token holders, not just shareholders.
No announcement from Dataline itself on the investors or the amount was available for us to check. The figures above rest on outside reporting rather than a company filing or post.
What Dataline Says It Does
The network is described as two-sided. Data providers supply data feeds and fill custom requests from AI agents. The agents get back outputs in a standard format, with a confidence score attached to each one.
The platform is reported to run on BNB Chain, Sui and TON. It also connects to Hyperliquid, the perpetual futures exchange, and to Polymarket. Most of the new money is reported to be going into infrastructure.
The project operated as Tearline until May 12, 2026, when it rebranded.
Dataline also puts two numbers on its own activity: 19.4 million on-chain transactions processed and a 96.4% success rate for agent tasks. Both are the company’s own claims. Nothing outside Dataline backs them up, and a transaction count on its own does not show how many real users or paying customers the network has.
AI agents paying for data is a growing theme. Agents made 138 million x402 payments on Base in an earlier count, which helps explain why investors are backing data layers built for them.
DLINE Token Terms Are Still Missing
The proposed token is called DLINE, and it is not live yet. It is reported to be used for access, staking, rewards and slashing, which is the penalty for providers who break network rules. Total supply is set at 1 billion.
The reported allocation looks like this:
- 33% for community rewards
- 30% for the ecosystem and foundation
- 13% for the launchpad and liquidity
- 12% for the team
- 12% for investors
Team and investors together hold 24% of supply. How fast those tokens unlock is the question that counts, and it has no answer yet. Sale pricing, vesting schedules and the number of tokens that trade at launch have not been published.
The timing is also not settled. One account says the native token launches later this year, followed by an initial coin offering on Uniswap’s CCA system. Another says only that token sale details are expected next week. How the Uniswap auction mechanism will work for this sale has not been described either.
What to Look for Next Week
If the promised details arrive, check three things before the sale opens: the price per token, the vesting terms for the team and investor shares, and how much of the 1 billion supply is unlocked on day one. A low launch float with large locked allocations can look cheap at first and face selling pressure later, as those tokens unlock.
Until Dataline publishes those terms itself, the token sale is a plan, not a date.
