AFK Heroes Season 4 Overview
AFK Heroes has officially launched its fourth season, boasting the largest prize pool in the game’s history at 100 million AFKHERO, equivalent to about $18,100. This move aims to attract more players by offering substantial token incentives.
Prize Distribution
The prize pool is allocated in the following manner:
- 60 million AFKHERO for gameplay rewards
- 20 million AFKHERO for staking rewards
- 20 million AFKHERO designated for additional prizes
Players’ earnings from the main pool are contingent on the Power Levels of their heroes, meaning that those with stronger heroes will benefit more.
Growth in Reward Value
Reward values have seen significant growth over the seasons:
- Season 1: Approximately $2,300
- Season 2: Approximately $3,700
- Season 3: Approximately $9,400
- Season 4: Nearly $18,100
This trend indicates a competitive environment as players strive for better rewards.
Staking and Token Economy
The staking feature has become integral to the AFKHERO economy, with 250 million AFKHERO, or 25% of the total supply, locked in the staking vault. This reflects the team’s statement that “one in every four tokens is now locked in the vault.” The total supply of AFKHERO is fixed at 1 billion tokens, with players earning through seasonal rewards and in-game activities.
