Free-to-play JPRG Tatsumeeko and life simulation game developed by Tatsu Works is set to join the Ronin Network.
Known for combining turn-based combat with social simulation elements, the game’s integration with Ronin aims to bring additional features and expand its reach.
As part of this integration, Tatsumeeko will introduce its ecosystem, including its casual Telegram game Lumina Hunt and the full RPG experience Lumina Fates.
What is Tatsumeeko?
Developed by Tatsu Works, Tatsumeeko is a life-simulation RPG set in the magical world of Ielia, featuring a rich mix of RPG mechanics and cozy simulation elements.
Players take on the role of an Awakener, battling enemies in turn-based combat, completing quests, and customizing the interiors of their homes. The game’s unique blend of strategic combat and life-simulation activities makes it accessible to a wide range of players, from casual gamers to RPG enthusiasts.
The game consists of two core products: Lumina Hunt, a casual, idle version of the game, and Lumina Fates, the full JRPG experience. Together, they form the backbone of the Tatsumeeko ecosystem, which aims to offer both casual and competitive gameplay in an immersive 2.5D world.
The Tatsumeeko ecosystem is built around three interconnected components:
-
- Lumina Hunt: A casual, idle game available on Telegram, Lumina Hunt allows players to capture creatures called Lumins, send them on expeditions, and earn Vabloons, an off-chain currency. These Vabloons are expected to be redeemable for $TATSU tokens, which will play a role in the game’s economy. Lumina Hunt is set to go live on the Ronin Network before the end of 2024, marking the first Telegram game to integrate with Ronin.
- Tatsu.GG: This is a Discord-based system featuring collection and idle RPG elements. Over 1.5 million Discord communities are integrated with Tatsu.GG, allowing players to collect and trade resources across different games.
- Lumina Fates: The main game in the Tatsumeeko series, Lumina Fates offers a life-simulation RPG experience. Players can control an Awakener, customize their character, and explore the world of Ielia. Closed and open beta tests are expected to take place before the end of 2024. As part of the integration with Ronin, in-game items like gear and furniture are planned to be tradable as NFTs.
What to expect from this partnership?
As part of the Tatsumeeko expansion to Ronin, players can soon engage in Lumina Hunt, where they capture mystical creatures called Lumins and send them on expeditions to earn Vabloons. These off-chain points will eventually be redeemable for $TATSU tokens, which power the entire Tatsumeeko ecosystem. The casual, idle game rewards players for their Lumins’ success on missions and allows them to accumulate additional points by participating in leaderboards and referrals.
The move will also introduce new opportunities for both casual and competitive players, with features like tradeable NFTs expected to roll out in conjunction with the game’s full launch.
With the addition of Tatsumeeko, Ronin continues to expand its gaming portfolio, which includes notable projects like Forgotten Runiverse and Ragnarok: Monster World.
