Multiplayer action RPG ChronoForge has hinted that it is approaching the final stages of its development, according to a recent tweet on X.
Owned by Australia-based Minted Loot Studios and developed in collaboration with Ammobox Studios, ChronoForge takes traditional roguelike multiplayer RPG gameplay and fuses it with strategic PvP and an evolving world map.
Ahead of its official launch, ChronoForge has announced updates to its Adventurer NFTs to increase their utility such as an exclusive prize pool, rental system and cooldown immunity. These features will be available when the game launches, though the release date has not yet been revealed.
What is ChronoForge?
ChronoForge is a dynamic multiplayer action RPG where the collective choices of players influence the game world.
In the game, players engage in combat with a selection of 12 classes, battling foes ranging from ancient creatures to futuristic enemies. The game includes raiding and mini-games that contribute to the improvement of community-operated airships, or trading companies, which are crucial for high-level crafting.
The game incorporates blockchain elements through the use of NFTs and the $RIFT token. Characters, land, mounts, and pets are represented as NFTs, granting players real ownership and the ability to trade these assets whilst the $RIFT token facilitates various transactions within the game, including converting items into NFTs and participating in governance decisions.
