Oracle Blockchain Platform and Oracle Digital Assets Data Nexus will provide a pre-integrated foundation for connecting to Swift’s ledger. The technology can host Swift commitment contracts and support event orchestration, while providing EVM-based blockchain infrastructure, custodial wallet capabilities, transaction signing, integrations and smart-contract functionality for tokenized deposit operations.
Oracle Banking Payments will connect those blockchain-based payment flows with existing ISO 20022 processing. Oracle said its technology can coordinate payment and blockchain events throughout the Swift ledger lifecycle using durable workflows and transaction coordination, helping institutions maintain consistent processing and operational resilience.
The integration extends Oracle’s longstanding collaboration with Swift on payment modernization. Earlier this year, Oracle announced that its payments application had received Swift Compatible Application certification.
