CoinGate, a cryptocurrency payment processor, implemented support for Binance Smart Chan (BSC) and Polygon blockchain networks.
Integrating these two networks into the CoinGate payment solution has created more flexibility when spending cryptocurrencies, allowing shoppers to select more networks during a payment process and save money on fees.
MATIC, WBTC, USDC, USDT, BNB, BUSD, and DAI are able to be used when paying through the Polygon network. Those who prefer using the BSC network can now use BNB, BUSD, USDC, USDT, and DAI for payments.
Justas Paulius, CEO of CoinGate, believes that adding more networks to the CoinGate payment solution is the correct way to cater to crypto communities:
“It has become obvious that the crypto industry will be scattered over multiple competing chains, some of which utilize Layer 2 solutions. We intend to ride the wave, adopt all technologies that move the industry forward, and broaden accessibility to every market participant.”
Merchants that use CoinGate payment solutions to accept cryptocurrency payments have these networks enabled by default and for free. More information can be found on CoinGate’s official announcement.
